Control Centre Operator

Fixed Term for six months with the potential to extended further

Rugby Borough Council is looking to recruit one full time, enthusiastic, self-motivated, flexible and customer focused individual to work within our Control Centre team. This position involves working 12hr day shifts on a rota basis, covering Weekends and Bank Holidays, including Christmas. Night shift cover will also be necessary, so flexibility to cover this will also be required.

.

The successful candidate will be required to operate the Council's Lifeline system and deal with out of hours enquiries for various service areas within the Council. They will possess excellent customer service skills, clear and fluent English, a calm and confident manner and approach, competent IT skills and the ability to work in a close team, as well as occasional lone working.

Candidates must possess a full valid driving licence and have use of a car.

Experience of working with vulnerable adults and/or a call centre background, would be advantageous. Flexibility to cover holidays/sickness is essential.
