The Role The Accounts Receivable Manager will take full responsibility for the Accounts Receivable function at Mindshare Worldwide. This includes for line management of 3 Billing & Credit Controllers, ensuring best practice and improving the processes and controls. The remit will also include management of credit insurance limits for all client and reconciling Global Centralised Billing clients.
The Ideal Candidate
As the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will have a hands-on pro-active approach with proven experience of managing a team and developing good working relationship with your team and other stakeholders within the business. You will have worked across all levels of Accounts Receivables and have a deep understanding of the billing and debt collection process.

Essential CriteriaProven management experience within an Accounts Receivable roleStrong analytical & Excel skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously to ensure all get followed through to conclusion.Able to work at pace whilst delivering consistent performance.

Desirable CriteriaFamiliarity with media industry a distinct advantageExperience with MediaOcean accounting software and or BFC CartesisExperience in a business with a SOX framework.

Responsibilities Line Management of 3 Billing & Credit Controllers covering a range of clients including Media and Intercompany. Management should include goal setting, regular catch ups/ 1-2-1s and reviews of the teams work to ensure the highest standards Assisting the Financial Controller and Finance Manager with achieving the companies Net Working Capital Targets by keeping Debt and Unbilled overdue within target levels Maintaining an accurate aged Receivables ledger. Monthly review and commentary of the receivables ledger providing useful information for internal management. Management of the shared receivables email inboxes to ensure the team respond to all emails within 1 working day inline with Mindshare's Energy value. Regular reviews of the unbilled and debt to help proactively manage problems before they arise. Manage escalation process of problem debt and unbilled transactions to ensure that issues are resolved quickly. Reconcile the billing for Global centralised billing clients Management of credit insurance limits for all clients to make sure that we do not exceed them. Providing client PO spend reports when requested by client teams. Suggest and implement process improvements Other adhoc requests from time to time as requested by the Financial Controller or Finance Director.
