About the Role:

As a Lecturer in Computer Science at UA92, you will be a key player in delivering our innovative curriculum, designed to equip students with the digital skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in today's tech-driven world. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching & Learning: Deliver engaging and student-focused teaching in areas of Computer Science and Cyber Security

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualifications: A Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in teaching at the higher education level, with a strong background in digital technologies and methodologies.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Innovation: A passion for integrating new technologies and innovative teaching practices into the curriculum.
  • Industry Insight: Robust connections with the digital industry and a commitment to staying current with the latest digital trends.

You will need to have good knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

1-Programming and software development (e.g. Python, Java, C++, C#)

2-Web development and digital marketing

  • Knowledge of front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular) and familiarity with back-end development (e.g., , Django, PHP)
  • Skills in digital marketing tools and techniques (such as SEO, Google Analytics, and content management systems like WordPress).

3-Networking and cybersecurity.

  • Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching).

4-Database systems (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

5-Cloud computing (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
