We are seeking a dedicated, empathetic, and strong-minded Team Leader to join our Mental Health service in Lambeth.

The chosen candidate will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the designated service, including supervising frontline staff. Responsibilities include nurturing the growth and skills of team members, managing customer support caseloads, and collaborating with the Contract Manager to meet financial targets and uphold service quality standards.

This is a temporary position covering maternity leave for one year, with working hours from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, and the flexibility to provide cover as needed.

To be eligible for this role, applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK at the start of employment as we do not offer sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire your team to foster a positive local culture within the service
  • Provide effective supervision, conduct team meetings, and manage casework efficiently
  • Promote the personal development of staff and contribute to succession planning
  • Ensure compliance with Key Performance Indicators and maintain accurate records
  • Manage work schedules and annual leave effectively
  • Coordinate service meetings, oversee staff actions, and handle administrative tasks
  • Establish and nurture relationships with customers and external partners to enhance service delivery
  • Participate in needs assessments, support planning, and ensure safeguarding protocols are followed
  • Perform on-call duties as needed and uphold health and safety standards
