Do have a genuine passion for teaching Science and enjoy sharing your enthusiasm for the subject with students?Would you like the opportunity to work as part of an innovative and dedicated Science Faculty? We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Teacher of Science, to teach Science across the school. As a member of our science faculty you will play a key role in supporting the development of our curriculum. We have a bold vision for our science curriculum; we want our students to be thinking and working like scientists with the aim for them to go on to solve some of our global problems. With a track record of strong results we are keen to build upon our success to be bolder and more ambitious with what our students can achieve. We are looking for a teacher who can be part of this journey. You would be joining a dynamic and innovative team with a wealth of experience. Our science faculty is well resourced we have two science technicians to support the delivery of practical lessons. At Key Stage 3 our team teach across all sciences whereas at Key Stage 4 our team tend to teach in their specialisms. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate creativity as well as excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to developing and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The role is suitable for an Early Careers Teacher and we offer the Full Induction Programme through UCL. Walthamstow School for Girls is a wonderful place to work, learn, teach and lead.
