If you want to work in an outstanding Department in a school that looks after their staff, come and look at Davenant. We are looking for a Head of MFL to lead the faculty from September. The ability to teach either Spanish or French to A Level is essential and the ability to teach a second language to KS3 or GCSE is preferable.

This position is a full time post but part-time applications on 0.8 are welcome. We require someone who is enthusiastic, self-motivated and ambitious. This is an exciting opportunity for promotion leading a very supportive and popular faculty. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence the development of this area of study and lead continued improvement.

Davenant achieves outstanding examination results. MFL subjects are central to our curriculum offer, and we aim for as many student to take a language as is appropriate. We are situated close to the M25 and central line. We can easily be reached either from London or from the Essex/Hertfordshire countryside.
