This is an integral role within the Hearst Commercial Operations and Hearst Global Solutions teams. You will hold responsibility for the Paid Social team and the relationships with key stakeholders in all markets where Hearst is present (Licensees and Joint Ventures included). You will evangelise a data-driven approach to content production and content amplification by encouraging experimentation before sharing success stories and making sure that the wider business is able to benefit from distributed information on best practice and repeatable strategies and tactics.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Maintain a strong relationship between the business and relevant providers, from Audience Development-related tools to social networks to keep abreast of any industry updates Monitor and drive content distribution for over 10 sales teams in a complex ecosystem of owned and operated markets, licensees and JVs Building and developing a centre of excellence to champion social media, search optimisation and paid distribution Manage a team of Paid Social executives for the UK market and Global Monitor industry developments and identify opportunities for the business and measure their impact Identify potential revenue streams for the business through emerging social products Recommendation of suitable social media and SEO tools for rollout across digital business Working with commercial teams to help realise and exceed campaign goals Work with related stakeholders on branded content strategy and delivery, ensuring profitable growth for commercial activity Communicate successes, whether editorial or commercial, to ensure learnings are applied to future content propositions Commercial campaign management: optimise deliverables to ensure the best business return on investment Stay updated on Hearst UK's output on social media channels in order to help drive audience growth on and off site by inputting into social media strategy Support the commercial team with content marketing on social media and content discovery platforms, advising on KPIs and content strategies for new pitches Share regular social, search and content best practice updates with both the editorial and commercial business units to develop understanding across the board Compile analytics reports and furnish commercial teams with data to bolster proposals Guarantee profitability of all paid social initiatives ABOUT YOU

Sound experience of using Audience Development tools as well as social media analytics tools to maximise reach Experience managing Facebook/Instagram/Snapchat/TikTok etc campaigns, both planning and execution Experience supporting brand strategies and advice on best strategic use of social communications to achieve objectives Keen to improve processes and learn best practice; uses processes to deliver desired business impact, doesn't introduce process for the sake of it An effective communicator able to build and maintain relationships at all levels Ability to balance competing priorities and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, able to guide others to do this also Goes into all situations with a view to adding value with a solutions focussed attitude Any European language a plus but not essential WHAT WE OFFER
