We are recruiting our client, a leading B2B marketing agency. They are looking for a Head of Paid Media to join their team.

You'll be responsible for triaging briefs and delivering tailored media and digital solutions, as well as shaping the media strategy and measurement approaches that meets clients' high standards. You'll work closely with the client teams to develop targeted campaigns that deliver strong commercial outcomes, and you'll review plans to ensure they meet the highest quality standards.

You should have a proven track record in developing and implementing successful media and digital strategies, as well as experience in managing budgets and client accounts. Your ability to think strategically, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive commercial outcomes will be essential in this role. Sometimes this may require writing a reverse brief for the client, uncovering audience and category insights, working with the clients commercial teams and shaping comprehensive digital strategies and measurement solutions.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Providing strategic support to clients and teams who are responsible for developing and executing brand and marketing campaigns and demand generation
  • Creating compelling media strategies working in parallel with an extensive content and creative agency team who produce content that engages their core audiences and tells a compelling story
  • Managing activation and thought leadership activation through core paid media channels
  • Developing and maintaining robust media, audience, digital and data strategy that can aggregate all activity across Paid, Owned and Earned to understand the full funnel and customer journey in a complex and fragmented category

What we need from you

  • Experience in working across B2B and within a media or creative agency
  • Strong 360 technical and detailed knowledge in BTL & digital media channels and performance (social, search, programmatic, display), with a good understanding of traditional channels including trade media
  • Understanding of key media and data partners that can be leveraged for their b2b capabilities
  • A strong ability to deliver an exceptional level of service to clients, need to be able to operate at a senior level with strong negotiation and persuasion skills, ability to confidently challenge the client with diplomacy where required
  • An excellent level of communication skills, with the ability to confidently liaise with internal teams, agency partners and wider network
  • Ability to operate at speed with accuracy, the clients moves at a fast pace but need to be able to manage the tempo across the account and demonstrate the ability to lead and control, meaning teams need to be guided on how to balance this
  • Need to be 10 steps ahead at all times, pro-activity and bring on the front foot is critical
  • Commitment and ability to drive change across capabilities, practices and markets
  • The capability to take the lead on a brief and deliver this to the wider team
  • The potential to perform to the best of your ability in a fast paced environment
  • Effective campaign and project management and strategic thinking
  • Experience in pushing innovative and creative thinking in media that has industry accolades
  • Efficient time management, able to prioritise, with the ability to remain calm under pressure

Salary: up to 72k
