Required for September 2024, this is a permanent part-time role (22 hours per week, term time only) to provide support to the Music department, Performing Arts department and wider audio-visual support to the school. It is an exciting opportunity for someone with practical skills in this area and an interest in developing curricular and extra-curricular opportunities for our students. Excellent communication skills, experience of working in a team and the ability to engage well with adults and children is essential.

We have a high-performing successful Music department, delivering Music and Music Technology to Level 3/A-level, you will be based in the Music department, including some direct support for students in accessing specialist equipment or software. The post holder will also support the use of audio visual, PA and lighting systems, used for Performing Arts and the wider school. Secure knowledge of how to use at least one popular DAW (Digital Audio Workspace) Software is essential, the school uses Cubase 10.5 Pro. Wider duties will include support for media aspects of the school website to showcase the life of the school and supporting staff to celebrate students' work and performances. There will also be safety checks and testing of equipment as part of this role.

We are looking for a positive, proactive, friendly colleague with core skills in key areas and the willingness to undertake training to expand their skillset.

The final working hours for this role will be by mutual agreement spread across four or five days. A degree of flexibility will be needed for evening events but these are planned well in advance.
