Location of School: NN1

Pay: p/day

Start date: Monday 2nd September 2024

A Primary school in the NN1 area are looking for a Year 5 Qualified Teacher. This role will be term time only and candidates must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). You must be ready to start work on 2nd September and be able to work 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday.

Marking, planning and staff meetings would be a requirement in this role.

The candidate needs to

  • Have experience teaching the UK National Curriculum
  • Hold QTS
  • Be able to work with and support KS2 children
  • Manage teaching assistants within the classroom
  • Be friendly and highly resilient
  • Be able to provide relevant references to comment on the relevant skills for this role
  • Have excellent behaviour management skills, or be willing to learn
  • Support children who may require 1:1 support
  • Build great relationships with staff and children
  • Be able to work on site and off site, managing behaviours in both areas
  • Be flexible in the workplace
