Key
Responsibilities:
Process vendor invoices accurately, ensuring proper coding, approval, and documentation.As anAccounts Payable Assistant,you would be required toreview and reconcile vendor statements to maintain accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.Communicate effectively with vendors to address inquiries and payment issues promptly.Prepare and process electronic payments such as ACH transfers, wire transfers, and checks.TheAccounts Payable Assistantmust maintain up-to-date accounts payable records and assist with month-end activities.Assist with the implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline accounts payable processes and increase efficiency.
Skills and Experience Required:
2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related roles.As anAccounts Payable Assistantyou should have strong knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in ERP software.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.Effective communication skills with vendors and internal stakeholders.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
