We are seeking a motivated, passionate and committed Maths teacher to join us from September 2024 in order to promote the highest achievement possible with our pupils. The successful candidate would build upon early successes within the department. The department currently has an established team with a mixture of both experienced teachers and ECTs.

St Mary Magdalene is recognised by Ofsted as a 'Good' school and the maths department is a welcoming faculty that focuses on both ensuring teachers have the autonomy they need to teach effectively and supporting its teachers in a positive manner. The leaders of the department have been in their roles for a number of years, meaning there is a good amount of stability, with structures put into place to enable teachers to spend as much time as possible focusing on improving their practice.

St. Mary Magdalene is a popular and successful school with two school campuses; a primary site in Woolwich and a modern state of the art all through building on the Greenwich Peninsula. It leads the Koinonia Federation with Christ Church primary school in Greenwich.

St Mary Magdalene's secondary phase opened in September 2016 and provides a total of 900 places for students aged 11-16, along with a sixth form provision which opened in 2021.
