We are seeking a Corporate Controller to lead all aspects of the corporate accounting function. There is a team of 5 already established and we expect to expand the accounting resources once this individual has joined. This is a great opportunity for a Corporate Controller to join an established, but fast moving company that is scaling rapidly. Great opportunity to take this company to the next level. Responsibilities
Planning, directing and managing all operational accounting functions across various entitiesManaging the monthly / annual financial close process and related financial reporting requirements, including the annual financial statement auditManaging debt compliance and required reporting to lendersManaging accounts payable, including royalty administrationManaging income and indirect tax filings and compliance with financial regulationsOwning the company's banking relationships and managing cash / treasuryResponsibility for oversight and control of acquisition accounting and financial integration of acquired companiesResponsibility for identifying and documenting technical accounting issues and internal controls, including ongoing review for any changes or updates
Experience
10+ years of experience, preferably in media and / or technologyExperience in a controller role at a similarly sized global companyCPA and / or public accounting experience is strongly preferredStrong US GAAP experience, including ASC 606, ASC 805 and ASC 830Experience in process improvement and automation initiativesExperience managing teamsEffective, transparent and proactive communicator with both internal and external parties
