International Talent Acquisition Compliance Specialist, AVP

Purpose of Role:

Recruitment compliance is the practice of ensuring that your hiring process is fair and in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations, while abiding to state, most practices, universal laws and internal practices. You will be responsible Drive International TA Compliance initiatives including training, policy interpretation, and internal procedure documentation to achieve compliant recruitment practices to minimize risk and protect the company's reputation.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Implement international recruitment practices and corporate compliance policies in alignment with regulatory obligations to protect the company's reputation, mitigate risk and avoid financial losses.
  • Oversee risk and compliance issue management, maintain regional business controls inventory, participate in assurance events, drive operational effectiveness testing and implement audit and control plans.
  • Serve as a liaison to global team leads and recruiters on compliance-related issues to help identify, evaluate, and remediate issues.
  • Own & review internal TA policies and on time completion of deliverables related to internal control framework
  • Design and execute instructional training programs for global recruitment teams and hiring managers to educate them on regional and local pre-employment law and prepare them for compliance readiness.
  • Seeks process improvement opportunities, audits standard TA processes and partners with process owners to implement process efficiencies, and audits compliance programs to ensure compliance and mitigate business risk.
  • Serves as an internal consultant, promoting the continuous development of field-based HR professionals with respect to HR compliance programs and provides day-to-day advice and counsel to various HR and business leaders.
  • Manage relationships with vendors that provide compliance tools and applications
  • Monitor job board compliance, applicant disposition tracking, and outreach activities for affirmative action compliance.
  • Prepare monthly regulatory reports and perform audits of standard recruitment activities.

Skills and Experience:

  • Preferred knowledge and experience with HR Compliance, Immigration, and ability to train others on TA compliance.
  • Positive relationship management, consulting and influencing skills
  • Experience in successfully balancing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong collaborator and can work effectively in a matrixed environment
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal)
