Role Overview:

Working within the heart of the BEAUTY BAY NPD Team, as NPD Co-ordinator you'll be responsible for supporting the wider NPD Team where you'll work alongside & collaborate cross functionally. BEAUTY BAY's NPD Team look for gaps in the market, emerging & ever-changing trends & ideas to ensure our product offering remains at the forefront of innovation whilst ensuring we are the disruptors of the Beauty industry & cementing our place as the ultimate number 1 global destination for the beauty obsessed

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth market research & competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities & gaps in the colour cosmetic market. Request and coordinate innovation samples from suppliers on new briefs..Help to prepare samples and decks for NPD and cross-functional meetingsHelp to coordinate information and liaise with suppliers on all aspects of projects.Lead on coordination of project trackers, reviewing project timelines and key deadlines.Collate global industry product research and trends & support in the visualisation for NPD meetings.Manage the communication of company-wide product trialing days, including the management of questionnaires and samples.General sample management i.e. Upkeep of sample room and product displays, and sample labelling.General administrative tasks including post, logging samples, arranging couriers, sample ordering, purchasing benchmarks, raising invoices.Liaising with cross functional teams for approvals & artworks.Minute taking in key business meetings (external and internal).Product sample tracking.Skills/Experience & Knowledge:Excellent organisation and communication skills (Written & verbal).Experience within a Retail role would be advantageous. Experience working within a Brand or Marketing role would be advantageous however, not essential.Ability to undertake detailed research & report back into wider team.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as a wider team.Adaptable and flexible with the ability to pivot as & when needed.Have a passion for the beauty industry (brands & product)Skilled using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
