Senior Data Analyst

  • Our Data Analysts are passionate data and insight professionals. Joining our team, you will be responsible for ensuring we deliver excellence in implementation, analysis and reporting initiatives for our colleagues and clients.
  • We work as part of the Marketing Strategy & Insights team and you'll work closely with strategists, creatives and client services teams focused on delivering best-in-class marketing data tools and insights.
  • As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll be instrumental in planning, implementing, analysing and reporting on various data sets generated through multiple sources as well as helping to continue the growth of a data informed culture at Zone and create opportunities within our client groups.

What can you expect in this role?

  • You will establish yourself as a highly trusted source for data and data-based insights with our client organisations.
  • You will be using quant data and analytics to support the team and stakeholders to synthesise and understand trends, user behaviours, and call out opportunities and value relevant to the work at hand.
  • You will define requirements and identify opportunities for development of new data tools and reports, as well as audit and identity opportunities to improve legacy analytics implementations.
  • You will develop measurement and reporting strategy with product owners and team leads, and generate hypotheses with your teams, and test these through analysis and experimentation.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

  • You will demonstrate digital analytics experience working within digital businesses, agencies or consultancies. You will have exceptional analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Can have solid experience in using different programming languages, such as SQL, Python & R.
  • Use data and analytical approach to provide validation, rationale, or evidence to support decision making and provide solutions.
  • You have the ability to visualise your findings in a logical and compelling manner using a BI tool such Data Studio, Tableau or Power BI. It would be a plus if you had experience of econometrics or attribution modelling.
  • You are an engaging communicator, able to build confidence, consensus and communicate findings concisely. You can present a compelling story from complex data sets in written or spoken form.
