Indie game marketing agency, Game If You Are, is looking to recruit an experienced marketer into one of two senior positions within the delivery team.

Game If You Are is a leading full-service digital marketing agency, dedicated to serving small-to-medium-sized video games companies. Fiercely passionate about the indie game scene, they design and deliver innovative and impactful campaigns - at a price that makes sense for solo developers, small studios and micro-publishers.

They are looking for either a Campaign Portfolio Manager to oversee their portfolio of client projects and lead the agency team on a day-to-day basis; or an agency account manager with experience in video games who would be eager to take on a key role in the team as a Senior Campaign Manager with the view to grow into the Portfolio Manager position.

The Campaign Portfolio Manager will manage and lead a small team of Campaign Managers who oversee a roster of client accounts and deliver their associated marketing campaigns. Taking care to balance the detail with the bigger picture, you'll act as a Campaign Director on individual marketing projects, giving direction and guidance to the team throughout. Additionally, you'll have oversight of a full portfolio of client projects, taking ownership of campaign results, operational/financial targets, and client satisfaction.

  • Leading, managing and developing the team to their highest potential
  • Setting, owning and enforcing quality standards within the team
  • Handling escalations and triages on client projects
  • Leading the marketing vision and strategy on client projects
  • Delivering feedback and performing quality checks on client deliverables
  • Controlling project budgets and scopes, whilst ensuring top class client satisfaction
  • Delivering complex project deliverables, such as Ad Campaigns, Trailers or
  • Consultation
  • Working with leadership to continuously innovate and drive company initiatives
The skills and experience you'll bring to the role...
  • 3-4 years' experience in a video games marketing role
  • 2-3 years' experience working in an agency environment, or other similar environment
  • Experience in supporting the development of other team members
  • Experience developing marketing strategies and plans
  • Professional experience in project management, especially complex or high-risk projects
  • Excellent and up-to-date knowledge of the video game sector
  • Exceptional knowledge of a range of PR and marketing disciplines
  • A sizeable list of established contacts in the media, including journalists and influencers
  • An exceptional communicator
  • A good working knowledge of basic management theory
  • Strong leadership skills
Desirable but not essential skills...
  • Experience managing or supervising other team members
  • A particular knowledge about and passion for the independent video games scene
  • Knowledge of digital ad campaign processes and best practices
  • Knowledge of 'Influencer-led' content and marketing best practices
  • Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite of applications
  • Experience managing programmes or portfolios
