Teacher of Art (ideally with the ability to teach photography or textiles or graphic design)

The Role

We are looking to appoint an exceptional Art Teacher (maternity cover). This is an excellent opportunity to work in a team that will offer the successful candidate a friendly, highly supportive and committed working environment within a culture of success and professional growth. You will be joining a highly motivated and passionate art team who work tirelessly and are committed to help all art students fulfil their potential.

The Person

The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom teacher who can inspire and excite students about their learning. You will have an innovative approach to developing an Art curriculum that is inclusive to all students. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Art across the full age and ability range up to and including A Level and will be able to develop enrichment activities across the school. Ideally the candidate would be able to teach any (or all) of the following subjects - photography, textiles or graphic design. The ability to work within a team is essential and candidates will be expected to have good art. A sound knowledge and understanding of best practice in the accurate assessment of student work is essential.
