No weekends, Hours Monday - Friday hours 7am-4.30pm and 10.30am-8pm rotating weekly

In this pivotal role, you will manage a team of dedicated operatives and forklift drivers, ensuring that goods reach customers accurately, on time, and in perfect condition. Key Responsibilities of a Warehouse Supervisor/Team leader:

Team Management of Warehouse operational staff of 6:

Oversee daily workloads, tasks, and shifts of warehouse staff.

Motivate and lead a team to meet and exceed performance objectives.

Warehouse Operations:

Supervise goods-in processes and efficient stock put-away.

Ensure accurate and timely picking, preparing, and checking of orders.

Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse and yard areas.

Order Fulfilment:

Load delivery vehicles with precision using various Forklifts.

Process parcel and pallet carrier orders efficiently.

Waste Management:

Organise and manage the disposal of cardboard, plastic, pallets, and general waste within the warehouse.

Administrative Duties:

Complete associated warehouse administrative tasks as required.

Arrange supply of gas for FLTs and AdBlue as needed.

Support Roles:

Provide absence cover for the Transport Manager and Stock Controller when necessary.

Required Skills and Attributes:

Strong leadership and motivational skills.

Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Effective planning and time management abilities.

Positive, can-do attitude and team-player mentality.

Physical fitness and self-motivation.

Education and Experience:

Proven experience in warehouse supervision and people management.

Forklift Truck (FLT) licenses
