EnRoute Recruit are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a well-established Construction company based in Dunstable. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger, ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, and handling related queries.
Key
Responsibilities:
Invoice Processing: Sign off and clear supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.Reconciliation: Compile and reconcile financial queries, ensuring all discrepancies are promptly identified and resolved.Accounts Payable: Monitor and maintain the purchase ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and up to date.Supplier Interaction: Communicate with suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies and answer account-related queries.Reporting: Generate regular reports on the status of invoices and outstanding payments.Compliance: Ensure all financial operations comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.Excellent numerical and analytical skills.Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.High attention to detail and accuracy.Experience working on XERO or Sage 50 desired.
