We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, talented, and innovative teacher with a proven track record of improving standards and an unwavering commitment to achievement in History. The successful candidate will lead and manage the History team and be relentless in the pursuit of excellence. Providing all pupils with academic and rigorous learning in History is central to our aspirational curriculum and we know that increasing the precision of our curriculum will lead to exceptional pupil outcomes.

The successful candidate will work alongside the Curriculum Team Leader of Humanities and Modern Foreign Languages, senior leaders, and colleagues in the Humanities curriculum area to evaluate the History curriculum and to develop an approach to guiding pupils to make even greater progress. In this role, the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to lead the professional development of colleagues in the curriculum area with a view to making teaching and learning increasingly precise and impactful.
