We are looking for a Regional Partnerships Manager (West) to join our team on a full time, permanent basis, as a homeworker in the West of England or at our Bristol or Swindon office.


You will be joining a growing Development Department which prides itself on a culture of collaboration and where all of our members have the ability to act as an ambassador for the wider charity.

This is a new role in the Regional Partnerships Team, and an incredible opportunity to support and influence the growth of the team for someone who is a confident self-starter and comfortable influencing at senior level, with a track record in developing mutually beneficial partnerships.

As our Regional Partnerships Manager (West), you will work with local and regional public sector bodies across the West to influence their strategic investment plans across regeneration, tourism, cultural economy, heritage and other key sectors to both position English Heritage as a strategic partner of choice, and secure both significant gifts and benefits in kind.

Working as part of the team, you will manage your own territory, role-modelling excellent standards of relationship building, partnership working and both internal and external senior level stakeholder management

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience of strategic partnership development especially with local and national government bodies.
  • Significant fundraising experience, working at a senior level and with a track record of personally soliciting significant gifts, partnerships and benefits in kind from statutory and public funding sources and support in kind.
  • Experience of working in complex, multisite and multifunctional organisations.
  • Experience of working across teams and departments to deliver crossorganisational projects.
