Spire Parkway are expanding the scope of services we offer our patients and as such we're looking for a Hotel Services Assistant to join our friendly team. This role will be responsible for providing a high standard of customer service to all patients, consultants, NHS partners, staff and visitors.

This position is a 30 hour a week over 5 working days, permanent position working 6 hours, completing 5x 6 hour shifts between Monday - Sunday Regular days of work/shifts can be flexible and will be agreed with the right candidate. You will however need to complete 1 weekend each fortnight.

This an excellent opportunity and a great role for someone that can thrive in a busy environment and enjoys speaking to people.

Spire Parkway Hospital has completed a ?9 million development programme that included a state-of-the-art Spire Specialist Care Centre and new Endoscopy Suite. It has also seen the total refurbishment of the hospital's 51 bedrooms as well as one of its five operating theatres. The Spire Specialist Care Centre offers treatment for a wide range of cancers as well a Rapid Access Breast Clinic and a One-Stop Haematuria Clinic.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Ensuring meals and beverages are delivered to patients' rooms
  • Responding to any ad-hoc requests from patients to ensure their comfortable stay
  • Assisting the catering and housekeeping teams with day-to-day duties
  • Making sure patients feel they are receiving a first class service at all times

Who we're looking for:

  • A customer service-focused approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in hospitality is desirable but not essential
