We are looking for a Head of Corporate Partnerships & Business Development to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

As a key member of the Development Department's senior management team, you will be expected to deliver significant growth in English Heritage's corporate financial support and personally secure six and seven figure partnerships and sponsorships, leveraging English Heritage's physical assets and intellectual property.


You will be empowered to plan and deliver a robust strategy to achieve a visible shift in partnerships with the corporate sector, including donations, sponsorship, cause-related marketing and investment.


You will lead a dedicated team of Corporate Partnerships specialists whilst establishing a close working relationship with your Development peers including Head of Philanthropy and Head of Regional Development Partnerships, to identify synergies and shared opportunities.


We are looking for someone who has:

  • Demonstrable track record in fundraising – and securing significant (6 and 7 figure) partnerships for a range of projects
  • Experience of managing high performing teams
  • A track record in identifying and maintaining relationships with high value funders
  • Extensive experience of working on successful delivery of complex, multipartner projects
