Project: Mace Consult Central Government team to lead key projects across our Houses of Parliament account. We have an exciting pipeline of work and the successful candidate will be responsible for delivery at all project stages, ensuring relevant stakeholders and professional team members are engaged throughout. The Central Government sector is responsible for developing our business across Parliament's vast estate, which includes the Palace of Westminster, Parliamentary Northern Estate and ancillary built assets. Our multidisciplinary service offer across the built environment is comprehensive. Collaborating with working practices across our business gives us the capability and capacity for wide-ranging opportunities, from transformative business change to delivery of estate rationalisation programmes.

The purpose of the role is to support project managers in the delivery of projects by providing high level planning service for the preparation of project plans, producing baseline scheduled tasks, resource profiles and financial models. The successful candidate will be involved in improving the consistency, predictability and efficiency of the programme / project delivery capability and provides leadership in best practices and is highly customer-focused - outward and upward and that these are consistent with customer expectations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Directing application of specific planning/scheduling methods, techniques and tools.
  • Providing good working knowledge of planning/scheduling, EVM, project controls and QSRA methodologies
  • Supporting on complex requirements.
  • Being able to manage planning/scheduling delivery of medium/high complexity projects/programmes.
  • Being able to provide effective & timely advice to clients.
  • Understanding data management.
  • Influencing client and other stakeholders to accept proposals and recommendations.
  • Creating and delivering persuasive presentations to large audiences.
