Simon Acres Recruitment are excited to be recruiting in Aberdeenshire for a Head of Bathroom Specification to join a reputable and award-winning retailer who are recruiting for their commercial/contracts division.

Salary: Paying a basic of 36,000 basic, plus commission ( 47,200 OTE).

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am-5.30pm. Weekend by appointment only.

The Role:

  • Ownership and day to day responsibility of the Bathroom Contract/Commercial team.
  • Responsible for sales growth year on year.
  • Business Development, Sales & Margin Targets.
  • Managing client experience from lead to sign off, including design and presentation.
  • Distributing and planning of workload to meet target return dates.
  • Providing technical support to designers analysing and checking designs.
  • Communication with clients pro-actively keeping them informed.
  • Supporting, training and developing the team.
  • Ensuring minimal error rate and remedial works.
  • Acting as the primary contact for trouble shooting.
  • Working closely with contract suppliers to get the best prices and leads.
  • Responsible for reporting on monthly dashboard sales, margins and remedials.
  • Presenting weekly overview of workload.
  • Reporting on monthly business development activity.
  • Forecasting quarterly

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years management experience within Kitchens or Bathrooms.
  • Proven track record of sales success and business development/growth.
  • Experienced in designing kitchens or bathrooms or CAD experience.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and drive growth and overall performance.
  • Strong customer facing, organisational and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in quoting volume projects for commercial/contracts (not essential).
  • Must hold a full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle.
