As Group Finance Director you are employed by our Management Company 'Cycas', for a portfolio of 10 properties around 7 countries is looking for a Portfolio Finance and Business Controller, in charge of all the Hotel operation controlling activities for hotels in this portfolio.
In this full-time position you will report to the Director of Group Finance and Business Controlling and to Owners (based in London ) and coordinate the local controllers on site.

Main responsibilities
Relationship management & Compliance
- Define and maintain a strong and effective process to control the data flow leading to the preparation of the month P&L.
- Establish and maintain solid relationships with other internal departments (Commercial, Development, Accounting) that have a significant impact on the monthly processes, on the hotel profitability and on the business development of the client.
- Implement and review the entire financial framework in which the hotels will have to perform all the financial activities on site ( SOPs, processes, templates, trainings)
- Obtain and keep an overall and consolidated view around the performance of the entire portfolio, so to provide valuable insights to the different departments and to the owner's representatives.
- Lead the budget and forecast process of the hotel, providing critical input on the profit conversion and support the GMs in the decision process to achieve the budget
- Support the VP of Operation in the relationship management with owners and GMs by providing financial insights or input to address complicated situations
- Define and implement a monthly review routine and calendar, involving internal and external stakeholders, to provide accurate and relevant data to evaluate the hotel performances.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis, requested by owners or relevant Operational people.
- Provide observations and recommendations to operational issues.
- Define standard audit procedures and an audit calendar to review the compliance and the strength of controls in each location
