Our client based in Waltham Abbey are looking for an experience Quantity Surveyor to come and join their team on a permanent basis. You will be providing support to the Divisional Manager and project team ensuring all is delivered on time and within the agreed budget. We are looking for a pro-active individual with a positive approach and high attention to detail.

To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience working alongside repairs and disrepair contracts.

Responsibilities include, however are not limited:
  • Ensure the successful running and control of each project
  • Managing projects through accurate forecasting and controlling project costs
    • Responsible for commercial reporting on contracts, including forecasting and Cost Value Reconciliations
    • Ensure projects meet the legal and quality standards
    • Attending client meetings
    • Supply chain management
    • Provide commercial details and information to support the Divisional and Contract Manager
    • Responsible for producing and presenting monthly commercial reports to the senor stakeholders
      The successful candidate must have strong IT skills including use of internal cost systems and an advanced user in Excel.
