I am exciting to be recruiting for a passionate Architectural Practice who have a rich history of delivering high quality designs across a diverse portfolio of sectors. Their expertise covers projects such as residential, education commercial and conservation to name a few. Their commitment to tailoring projects to their clients needs and often exceeding their clients expectations has enable them to cultivate strong, long term relationships with a range of clients including universities, blue chip organisations and housing associations. This award winning practice have flexible working options with reduced hours on a Friday, excellent progression opportunities with regular promotion reviews and a generous pension scheme. As a RIBA Chartered Practice their reputation exceeds them and therefore this is an excellent opportunity for a talented Senior Architectural technician to become an integral member of a successful and growing practice in Manchester.

The successful Senior Architectural Technician will have extensive post qualification UK experience with experience job running / as a project lead , strong working knowledge of Revit and excellent technical detailing skills.

Skills, Responsibilities, and Experience for the role of Senior Architectural Technician:

  • Substantial post-qualification experience is essential
  • Degree in HND/HNC in Architectural Technology or similar
  • Residential or education sector experience
  • Strong understanding of Revit
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A keen eye for detail and demonstratable technical excellence
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic approach to work
  • Work well within a team
  • Be involved in projects from planning through to delivery stages
  • A passionate and self-motivated approach to work and professional development
  • Experience managing a small team and projects
  • Job running experience
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Good working knowledge of up-to-date building regulations
  • Live locally to Manchester
  • Work well in a close-knit team
