As a Substance Misuse Recovery worker, you will play a vital role in assessing, planning, and delivering tailored care packages to service users. Your work will be instrumental in facilitating positive change through various interventions, including psychosocial, pharmacological, and psychological support.

Essential skills for the role:

  • Relevant experience in the substance misuse field or similar setting.
  • Knowledge of substances, their effects, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Understanding of the recovery movement and issues faced by substance misusers.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work accurately.
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries and work as part of a team.
