Job Title: Substance Misuse Case Manager

The NHS is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Substance Misuse Case Manager to join our Early Intervention Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in reducing stigma associated with treatment services and making our offer more accessible to the wider community.

The successful candidate will have experience of working within substance misuse services, with a strong understanding of multi-disciplinary team working, key working, and psychological/psychosocial interventions. You will be responsible for providing advice and brief interventions, structured key working, assessments, and a needle exchange service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert and effective practice around substance misuse treatment
  • Offer advice and brief interventions to service users
  • Conduct structured key working and assessments
  • Operate a needle exchange service
Person Specification:
  • Relevant degree or diploma in substance misuse or equivalent
  • Experience of working within substance misuse services
  • Strong understanding of multi-disciplinary team working
  • Knowledge of health and safety, including the ability to access high-risk situations
  • Understanding of the recovery movement and its principles
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £25,397 to £30,991 per annum, dependent on experience. You will also have access to ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
