Digital & Technology Services provide IT services and facilities for the University of Dundee across all campuses. The directorate provides services ranging from the provision of the university core network & datacentres through to client devices and provision of corporate software systems.

We are recruiting for an exceptional individual to join us as a Business Analyst within the Digital Architecture team. This role will be responsible for working with key project stakeholders and clients to define the requirements and benefits of strategic initiatives and ensure they align with the University's digital architecture principles.

Your priorities will include:

  • To carry out analysis and requirements gathering tasks, ensuring that feasibility has been assessed and established and relevant documentation is maintained.
  • To assess and recommend appropriate solutions to fulfil business requirements with current or new applications to ensure the highest confidentiality, integrity and availability standards.
  • To undertake feasibility studies, gap analysis and assist in developing formal business cases for proposed information systems as a basis for decision-making at a senior management level.

Who we're looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience in carrying out analysis and requirements gathering tasks.
  • Demonstrable track record of undertaking feasibility studies, gap analysis and the development of formal business cases.
  • Experience in streamlining processes and contributing to systems improvements.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with other teams to help deliver key projects and developments.
  • Ability to manage complex and diverse workloads to tight deadlines.
