Tax Manager

Our company is looking for a Tax Manager to join our team. Below is a summary of the role and requirements:

  • Management of the UK corporation tax function in collaboration with external consultants
  • Build relationships with external UK and Group tax advisory teams
  • Coordinate with Group Tax Team
  • Ensure Transfer Pricing Compliance
  • Handle relationships with HMRC, manage enquires, and internal communication
  • Lead UK tax accounting and reporting requirements
  • Assess and report tax planning
  • Lead the group's assessment of qualifying expenditure for R&D tax credits
  • Review and optimize processes for VAT return
  • Support responses to tax evasion risk across the organization
  • Provide technical tax and project management support for local and global projects
  • Support finance and trade team with indirect tax queries

The ideal candidate should have:

  • An accounting or tax qualification (ACCA/ACA/ICAS/CTA)
  • Experience in a B2B or manufacturing environment or substantial UK Tax practice
  • Interest in systems and indirect taxes
  • Strong written, verbal, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence, good judgement, and pragmatism
