Role Overview:

The firm is seeking an experienced Solicitor to join its successful and expanding Private Client team as a Contentious Probate Solicitor. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for Litigation and Dispute Resolution related to Inheritance, Trusts, and Probate matters. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to provide exceptional Client service, as it involves regular interaction with Clients and Professional Referrers.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing a busy caseload independently with minimal supervisionDeveloping and maintaining strong Client relationships, exceeding Client expectationsParticipating actively in marketing activities to promote the firm's full range of services, with a primary focus on Probate mattersEnsuring expeditious progress of Client work, keeping Clients informed about realistic outcomes, progress, and costsMaintaining confidentiality and security of all firm and Client documentation in compliance with Law Society and GDPR regulationsBuilding and nurturing relationships with internal and external StakeholdersProviding support to other team members as required
Skills and Experience Required:Essential: 1-5 years' PQE (Post-Qualified Experience)At least 40% of previous caseload should be Contentious Trust and Probate relatedExperience in Non-Contentious Private Client work would be advantageousAmbitious, proactive, and eager to contribute to the firm's growthCapability to generate new sources of work and introductionsProficient in IT skills, including case management systems (preferably SOS)
