Staff Nurse

Location: Llangennith, Swansea SA3 1JB

Salary: £19 per hour

Our client is a family owned and run Care Home situated in the village of Llangennith, Swansea.

The Role

They are currently looking to recruit an RGN/RMN Staff Nurse on a permanent contract with part or full time work available, days and nights.

Only Nurses currently based in the UK with a Valid NMC Pin will be considered for the job.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential:

RGN/RMN

Good oral and written communication skills.

Clear and legible handwriting.

Computer literate

Understanding of own professional and clinical limitations.

Lead a care team

Knowledge of older person's care

Knowledge of various drugs, interactions side effects

Ability to organise work load

Reliable and flexible

Shows enthusiasm and commitment

Desirable:

Willingness to teach

Experience of a care home

Experience of older persons care

Previous experience of Care Homes is desirable however not essential as a full package of on-the-job induction and training will be provided.

Due to the location the ability to arrange your own travel to and from work is essential.
