Job Description
We are looking for a risk professional with a good understanding of Operational Risk and 2nd line review to join our Non-Financial Risk team in our Retail business.
You don't need to have an Insurance background or specific product knowledge, we are just looking for you to have Financial Services experience.
This is a great opportunity to learn and develop your skills as you will work closely with senior members of the team in guiding and challenging 1st line teams on their management of risks.
Qualifications
Knowledge:
Strong regulatory knowledge and experience of FCA rules and practical application.
Experience:
Some experience of interpreting and applying Group Conduct Risk policies and controls to practical scenarios and helping to devise compliant, commercially acceptable solutions.Good awareness of the wider business and regulatory environment and ability to understand the potential impacts of market and regulatory changes on the Division.Good understanding of the principles of risk management, especially in relation to regulatory and customer focused risks.Initiative and capability to identify and investigate conduct risks through Data analysis for root cause and trends.Investigative mindset with ability to generate and manage own workloads through interactions with the business.Proficient at Microsoft Office Apps and SharePoint (build and maintenance)Good organizational skills essentialStrong communication skills to support the delivery of MI packs, dashboards, reporting, policy training and compliance monitoring results to business leadership teamsStrong ability to challenge and influence stakeholdersData analysis, MI and or/Business Analyst experience an advantage
