As a Senior Operations Manager you are responsible for ensuring our current and future projects have the resources, tools and information to deliver the best possible results to our clients - on budget and to deadline. The candidate will play a key role at the operational heart of Engage Digital Partners. We require a dynamic individual with an innate ability to multitask, manage people and think both creatively and logically.

The ideal candidate will have a background in media, and will understand how to manage the balance between client relations and achieving commercial targets. Experience working in production and knowledge of film crews and media management is highly beneficial.

The role will manage the monthly and longer-term resource plan, and as such will also work closely with the People Director on workforce capabilities and productivity. This role will continuously drive improvements in delivering customer outcomes and improving internal efficiency and workflows. Playing a role in the smooth running of day to day operations, you will be required to take a deep dive into the details. Responsibilities:

Managing the day to day operations of all UK projects ensuring they are correctly briefed, budgeted and run to time inline with client requirements.Active management of team resourcing on a daily and weekly basis, dealing with competing deadlines across a varied client base.Develop client budgets (new proposals and current clients) and have understanding of varying pricing models, in order to cater for specific client needsTrack, monitor and control spend for ongoing projects - highlighting areas where budgets may need to be adapted for changing requirementsForm and manage client relationships to monitor client satisfactionManage key supplier and vendor relationshipsProvide actionable business insights, through dashboards, reports and analysis, to help the Operations Director make data-driven decisions.Working closely with the Operations Director to develop and review policies, governance and contractual issuesMaintain up-to-date operational knowledge across changes in legislation through attending workshops, reviewing publications and using network to benchmark against relevant companies and industry standardsManage the production team, ensuring all logistics, shoot planning and resourcing is being managed correctly keeping quality assuranceLead, performance manage and develop the operations and production team by optimising their skills, succession planning and recognising individual talent. Identify the skills and new hires needed to grow the Operations and Production team.Key skills and knowledge:Ability to perform calmly under pressure, manage multiple tasks and to work to tight timescales.Proven Project Management skills and robust processesVery strong experience managing and running monthly and quarterly data reports, advance level use of ExcelStrong understanding of financial management including budgeting, profit and loss, cash flow management and relevant employment financial practicesStrong commercial awareness and experience working on RFP'sA strong solution oriented mind-set, quickly responding to problems independently and proactively to address conflicting stakeholder requirements and achieve creative compromiseExcellent verbal and written communication and influencing skills, being able to manage up and down within an organisation. Comfortable working with Senior ManagementExperience in dealing with production, film shoots and media managementExperience of client managementKnowledge of social media platforms beneficialBasic understanding of employment laws and necessary legal and regulatory documents such as insurance provisions and client contracts beneficialGeneral:Being a senior member of the team, leading by example and demonstrating good business acumenWork flexible days, according to the appropriate sports-related calendarHighly self-motivated and drivenGreat team player with the social skills to go with itInterest in sport beneficial, but not essentialSalary dependent on experience
