ROLE PURPOSE:

Reporting to the Anodizing Manager, ensuring that all aspect of the anodizing chemistry control plan is adhered to and support improvement of the process. Assure anodising process control, using a range of laboratory equipment. To support the anodising manager and team improving the processes.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitor and Adjust bath chemistry control, via titration trending analysis and dosing adjustments
  • Ensure testing is carried out to required standard, schedule and record all test data.
  • Assure equipment is calibrated as specified in the quality system.
  • Collecting and preparing samples, solutions, cultures and specimens and ensuring safe disposals of waste
  • Waste management including effluent plant
  • Run daily reports as required
  • Book in external anodising work
  • Support manager level one board and meetings
  • Carry out trials and product verification testing
  • Complete and execute all tasks assigned to you via the apprenticeship trainer
