Energy Model Developer
Competitive salary (hybrid working - 2 days in the office, 35 hours per week)

Allen & York are excited to be working with a forward-thinking organisation, specialising in providing data-driven research, consultancy, technology products and training services to companies investing in, and navigating through, the energy transition.

Our client is looking for a passionate Energy Model Developer to join the fast-growing Energy Modelling team, contributing to the development of cutting-edge energy solutions.

You will be involved with developing new and maintaining existing models to be used by clients directly or in relation to client projects. Primarily focussed on backend development, you will also support upgrades to web-based front ends.

You'll hold a relevant BSc, MSc or MBA qualification, with an emphasis on mathematics or computer science. With solid experience of working within the Energy sector, you'll be able to demonstrate a solid understanding and experience of C# programming and Visual Studio. An excellent communicator, you'll have the ability to discuss technical matters in non-technical language. You'll enjoy working collaboratively with your colleagues and have an eagerness to learn new skills.

Experience of using Microsoft technical stack and Azure DevOps, together with Vue JS and TypeScript would be advantageous to this role.
