An excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Technician has just become available based in Angus. Working in the Oil and Gas sector you will join an established team carrying out duties such as repairs, maintenance, testing and servicing of equipment within the workshop and offshore.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and testing various pressure control equipment.
  • Assisting in service, repair and testing of all equipment.
  • To assist on an ad-hoc basis offshore and overseas when required.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork.
  • Complete final checks on equipment prior to despatch.
  • Adhere to all health and safety and act as an ambassador for the company.

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical qualification i.e. HNC/ HND, modern apprenticeship, SVQ.
  • Offshore Certificates beneficial.

Personal Qualities:

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good organisational skills.

Remuneration:

  • Up to 40K + Offshore day rate.
