Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, United Kingdom Leaders in Care Full time

Flexible Working | Supportive Leadership | Competitive Rate

Child Protection / Children in Need Social Worker | West Country | Flexible Working

It is clearer day by day that the demand for your skills as a social worker has risen dramatically over the last couple of years; be it due to the pandemic, burn out, or otherwise – whatever is the cause the point remains that the need for experienced social workers has never been greater.

As one of the group of children's social workers who has managed to continue to support and help the vulnerable children and families during these tough times, then its only fair you receive the benefits of your hard work and staying power.

You could be working in one of multiple offices across a local authority in the south west that can offer an impressive pay rate, which Leaders in Care then top up (with our exclusive loyalty bonus) to £48/h – it is worth mentioning fact although the team are generally office based, 4 day, 30 hour, or even condensed working hours are available.

The teams themselves deal with front line safeguarding work, and tend to carry some court work in their caseload before passing over to the looked after teams.

As this is a statutory role, you do require a social work qualification & registration to Social Work England.

If you would like to hear more about the team, or the opportunity please contact James on or email to arrange a time to call.
