We are looking for an enthusiastic Netball Coach (Sessional) to join our team in September 2024.

Training every Wednesday @ Archbishop's Park - 4:00pm-6:00pm or 4:30pm-6:00pm

Responsibilities:

To take responsibility for, and contribute to, the coaching of the netball team within the Coach Senior netball team (Y11-Y13)School. This will include training sessions and midweek after school fixtures (not every week).To plan and deliver coaching sessions for the netball team.To ensure all pupils' experiences, at any level, are positive and enjoyable.To communicate with pupils on important issues such as team selection and playing/training commitments.To be an ambassador for netball within the school and beyond.To undertake relevant mandatory and statutory training and development as required. To administer basic First Aid, if required, and be willing to assist pupils.to your role.Job Specification: Strong communication; both written and verbal Strong organisational skills Ability to work effectively within a team Excellent interpersonal skills with good pastoral understandingAgile and able to adapt quickly to the requirements of the School Outstanding personal relations and team working skills Ability to lead by example Ability to maintain positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff Effective behaviour management skillsPersonal resilience, persistence, and perseverance Knowledge and Experience:Strong IT SkillsInterest in working in the Education SectorExperience coaching youth Netball teamsPrevious experience of working in a team and liaising with all levels of staffNetball Coaching Qualifications – Level 1 essential.
