  The Role
  
  

  A unique opportunity to manage a new regeneration and economic growth team and lead the delivery of major regeneration projects in Wyre Forest supported by £45 million of council and external grant funding. The funding has been secured recently from the Future High Streets Fund and the Levelling Up Fund and will support the delivery of major capital projects in Kidderminster, including new public realm initiatives, flexible workspaces, digital innovation, commercial and cultural hubs. The team will also lead the development of a major feasibility study for a new project pipeline on several major development sites. The gross development value of the current and new project pipeline exceeds £100 million.
  
  

  We have a significant transformational agenda, and the role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively across the council and with key external partners to deliver against the priorities set out in the new Corporate Plan You will be part of an agile team supported by externally appointed professional teams and we are looking for people who are interested in advancing their professional careers in the built environment, develop project management skills, knowledge and expertise.

  The role is advertised as a Band 9 however is subject to a job evaluation review
  
  

  We have a flexible approach to the workplace and operate a hybrid model which will be agreed locally with your manager. It means that, if the role permits, employees will be combining the benefits of working at home and in the office.
  
  

  You may be required to provide a suitable vehicle in connection with the duties of this post.
  
  

  Flexible approach to working hours, able to work outside normal office hours if necessary, including a requirement to be available for evening meetings.
