Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyse cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projectsConduct site visits and quantity take-offs to ensure accurate cost projectionsNegotiate and manage contracts, subcontracts, and procurement processesMonitor project costs and implement cost control measuresEvaluate and process payment applications, change orders, and claimsLiaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are metProvide value engineering and cost-saving recommendations
Qualifications and Experience:Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, ideally with consultancy or client-side exposureStrong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and best practicesExcellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesRelevant professional qualifications (e.g., RICS, CIOB) are highly desirable or working towards
