The University of Worcester BA (Hons) Game Art course, is seeking to expand their current pool of sessional Game Art Lecturers to contribute to teaching during
Successful candidates will have specialist knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Unreal Engine 4 and 5 Pipeline
- Substance Painter and Designer
- Marmoset Toolbag
- Marvelous Designer
- 3d Modelling (Maya preferred)
- Digital Sculpting (Zbrush)
- VR/AR experience
- Digital painting and concept art with strong foundational art skills.

Selection Process:
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a formal interview and asked to deliver a teaching session.
Candidates are required to adopt the role of a lecturer at the School of Arts and to facilitate a 15-minute teaching session on a relevant topic aimed at level 5 undergraduate students. The session will be presented to the interview panel and be followed by a formal interview process.
The topic should centre on an area of Game Art practice of the candidate's choice. As the teaching session is limited in duration, it is suggested that one or two key concepts are covered in-depth with clear introduction, presentation, learning activities, conclusion, and references. Candidates are advised to strictly adhere to their allotted time and therefore, their Intended Learning Outcomes should reflect this. Learning activities are required and should be student centred and interactive.
Candidates are expected to demonstrate learning and teaching skills suitable for a lecturing post at the School of Arts and to show a suitable depth of understanding of their chosen topic. Demonstration of familiarity with academic sources relating to the topic presented is also expected. Once the teaching session has concluded, there will be an opportunity for staff to ask questions related to your teaching.
