About the role


You will develop and improve plans and forecasts over multiple Horizons, adjusting these based on business performance and new information to target the best outcome for the business.

Working with retail supply category teams, logistic operations, and our Digital Teams to ensure the business is aligned and each requirement is accounted for.


You will engage stakeholders at multiple levels, elicit requirements and tailor solutions to facilitate decision-making at various levels of detail.

Take ownership of the Plan set out and the KPI's relating to the forecast and budget to provide customer service at a high standard.


  • Using analytical skills, and data to make decisions using Excel models and Power BI reports
  • Leading cross-functional regular meetings to update the Business and gain insights that lead to required actions, holding teams to account
  • Flexing between long and short team planning, driving the success of Events and Promotional activity set out by the commercial teams
  • Aligning Forecasts, Budgets and Actual output of the supply chain to identify business opportunities and risks to deliver success
  • Support peak planning, set up and readiness for Burton and non-Burton fulfilment locations
  • Proactively identify opportunities that could support business objectives
  • Perform investigations into issues with non-Burton fulfilment channels (e.g. Hybrid stores, SSC, MFC)
  • Develop relationships with the Retail Operations, Stores, Teams and IT and wider supply chain teams
  • Support developing the future OMS vision and investment cases
What you'll need to have

  • Proficient communication with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and present Plans and recommendations in a clear, digestible fashion.
  • A change mindset that employs a proactive self-driven approach to process improvement with the confidence to challenge the status quo.
  • A good understanding of Supply Chain and Demand planning
  • Analytical and Organised: able to work and deliver at pace.
  • Able to interpret data.
  • Curious to try innovative approaches, share new learnings and confident in providing and receiving feedback.
  • Able to look and think ahead and doesn't ignore problems
