Job Summary

• The Sr Infra developer will own the development tasks of the solution based on integration of Service Now.

• The Developer must align with the Architects/Technical Design Team on the project responsible for corresponding technical designs to ensure design is supported by the underlying standards.

• The deliverables are expected to meet high-quality standards.

• The ideal candidate will understand configuration management principles. They will perform the necessary tasks to design and develop configurations and customizations for component discovery.

• Must be able to work both independently and as a productive member of a project team.



Key Responsibilities

• ServiceNow Implementation Specialist & Admin certification

• Good understanding of ITIL processes

• Lead and own ServiceNow deliveries

• Guide, mentor and train team members

• Define and implement best practices.

• Participate in Design, development, and deployment phases in ServiceNow.

• Review team activities

• Conduct trainings on ServiceNow.

• Conduct and document due diligence for customer tools, process and projects.

• Experience on core ServiceNow modules like – Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Level Management, CMDB, Knowledge Management, Service Request Management

• Experience on Java scripting

• Excellent understanding of ITIL processes

• Experience in creating and modifying workflows

• Experience in design, development, and deployment in ServiceNow

• Experience in documentation and review activities

• Experience in complex data migration

• Excellent experience on ServiceNow integrations

• Experience in creating custom applications

• Exposure to Discovery and modules like PPM and Release Management

• Excellent experience in creating customer reports and dashboards.

• Experience on ServiceNow foundation data management and data modelling

• Experience on LDAP integration

• Ability to create templates for foundation data, CMDB etc.

Essential Skills:

• Creation of script-based assignment and approval rules.

• Creation of Business Rule, UI Action by using Glide script.

• Creation of Glide Record object

• Creation of custom related list.

• Creation of Access Control List with the help of Scripting.

• Creation of Script based UI Policy and Client Script.

• Debugging script

• Creating and customizing UI and pages using Jelly

• Working with complex Log Files.

• Render forms, lists, UI Pages, and many other things in Service- with the help of Jelly

• Designing of Macros and Formatters.

• User Administration

• Web Service Integration

• Integration with tools, applications, and systems

• Use of Import Sets for data loading from external file or database to the service-

• Good communication and inter-personal skills

• Good written language and documentation skills

• 4+ years of ServiceNow experience



Nice to Have Skills

• ServiceNow Implementation Specialist & Admin certification preferable.
