TERMS OF REFERENCE

Senior ServiceNow Developer - Workplace Service Delivery

I. BACKGROUND

In response to the evolving needs of its User Services team, The Clientfor Reconstruction and Development (the CLIENT or the Bank) is seeking to recruit a Senior ServiceNow Developer with expertise in Workplace Service Delivery or Field Service Management. This role will be pivotal in developing and maintaining ServiceNow solutions tailored to Health and Safety, Facilities Management, and Asset Management needs. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Next Experience Workspace and case management development. This position will work closely under the guidance of the ServiceNow Architect.

II. OBJECTIVE OF ASSIGNMENT

The primary objectives of this assignment are:

  1. Develop and customize ServiceNow solutions to support Workplace Service Delivery or Field Service Management processes.
  2. Utilize expertise in Next Experience Workspace and case management development to enhance user experience and streamline workflows.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and implement solutions that meet business needs.
  4. Provide support to the ServiceNow Architect in architectural decisions and implementation strategies.

III. SCOPE OF SERVICES AND WORK

The Senior ServiceNow Developer - Workplace Service Delivery will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Collaborate with the ServiceNow Architect and stakeholders to gather requirements and define use cases for Workplace Service Delivery or Field Service Management solutions.
  • Develop and customize ServiceNow solutions, including Next Experience Workspace and case management functionalities.
  • Implement enhancements and new features to improve user experience and streamline workflows.
  • Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and reliability of developed solutions.
  • Provide input and support to the ServiceNow Architect in architectural decisions and implementation strategies.
  • Document technical specifications, development processes, and best practices.

IV. IMPLEMENTATION ARRANGEMENTS

The Senior ServiceNow Developer - Workplace Service Delivery will report directly to the ServiceNow Architect and collaborate closely with other members of the User Services team. Regular communication and coordination will be maintained to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.

V. DELIVERABLES

The Consultant shall provide the following deliverables:

  • Developed and customized ServiceNow solutions to support Workplace Service Delivery or Field Service Management processes.
  • Unit testing results and documentation to ensure the quality and reliability of developed solutions.
  • Technical documentation, including technical specifications and development processes.
  • Regular progress updates and status reports to the ServiceNow Architect and relevant stakeholders.

Expected Skills and Experience

Essential

  • 3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a focus on Workplace Service Delivery or Field Service Management.
  • Proficiency in Next Experience Workspace and case management development within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow development best practices and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Capacity to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Desirable

  • Certification in ServiceNow development (e.g., Certified Application Developer).
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety, Facilities Management, and Asset Management processes and workflows.
  • Experience with other ServiceNow modules, such as HR Service Delivery (HRSD) or Customer Service Management (CSM).
