Sónas celebrates our community by using locally sourced ingredients, sustainably caught seafood, and locally raised meats. We aim to ensure the freshest flavours while supporting our community's famers and producers. Our family has many years of experience in the hospitality industry, and importantly, we understand the benefits and importance of working closely with our team. We now have a fantastic opportunity available for a chef to join us.

We are looking for an experienced chef with a flair and passion for producing high quality, flavoursome, well-presented food.

Qualities:
Proven experience as a chef or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices.
Great leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining high standards and attention to detail.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities:
Supervise and co-ordinate all the activities in the kitchen.
Plan and develop menus in collaboration with the management team.
Ensure proper food production and presentation.
Prepare and cook excellent quality food.
Oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen.
Adhere to food safety and cleanliness regulations.
