We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Fort William. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting a young man with life-changing injuries to live as independently as possible in his own home.
About the RoleThis is a part-time (20 hour) and bank (0 hour) position, requiring a strong work ethic and ability to work independently. The successful candidate will have previous experience in moving and positioning, and be comfortable with personal care and medication support.
Key Responsibilities- Support with personal care and moving and positioning
- Assist with daily activities, including cooking and medication management
- Encourage independence and participation in daily life
- Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the individual we support
- Previous experience in a support worker or care assistant role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
